Marcel Jörg, l'hôtel Bad Murtensee is an institution in Morat with a long history, can you tell us more about the hotel?
In fact, it is a house full of history, which opened its doors in 1750. Initially, the hotel was complemented by a bathing establishment just down the road. The men were authorized to bathe there in the morning, the women in the afternoon (rires). I've been running the hotel for two years now and I've completely renovated it, both inside and out. Our latest jewel is the Attila Lounge, which will be opening its doors soon.

I also think that this partnership is perfectly adapted, it's a win-win situation for both parties. The Bad Murtensee hotel is also the port of call for the Attila Boutique Boatel. Nous accueillons les passagers avant le départ avec un apéritif dans l'Attila Lounge, là-même où la croisière commence et se terminine. In addition, the cruisers can enjoy our excellent cuisine. We will be in charge of the first and the last snack as well as the on-board catering. Bien entendu, les passagers peuvent arriver plus tôt ou rester plus langtemps, pour profiter de l'hôtel (rires).
The hotel now also has an Attila Lounge. How did you come up with this idea and who can benefit from this lounge?
The main aim is to celebrate this partnership in an appropriate way and to make this fantastic project visible and tangible in the hotel. The Attila Lounge is open to everyone, except when it is booked or when the welcome drink is served to the travelers.
Qu'est-ce qui te fascine personnellement dans le projet Attila ?
It showcases the beauty of our region. I am convinced that people underestimate the charm and beauty of the Trois-Lacs region. I have often noticed that Swiss and foreign tourists were surprised by the unique character of our region. The lakes between them, the region's viticulture, the pretty villages, our culture and our multilingual history. I am sure that passengers will be happy to make excursions from the boat.
As-tu déjà réservé ta croisière ?
I don't particularly like the word 'cruise'. It is associated with large boats, pollution and mass tourism. L'Attila is completely different, small, convivial and durable. It offers something for everyone, be it culture, gastronomy, nature or simply the opportunity to relax in a fantastic setting. I booked the Saint-Valentin forfait and spent three days on the Attila with my wife in June. We really enjoyed being there!

Quels sont vos endroits préférés dans la région ou dans le Seeland ? Avez-vous un conseil pour une excursion ?
I often go to the terrace on the beach in Boudry, overlooking Lake Neuchâtel. In the summer, I love to eat a fondue there, it's a great moment. I can also recommend notre hôtel directement over le lac de Morat. Prendre un apéritif entre amis au coucher du soleil au bord de l'eau, c'est unique.
What can the hotel's clientele expect?
Nous proposons une excellente cuisine de poisson au restaurant " See la vie " et nous sommes désormais également membres de la Confrérie du Poisson d'Or. We have everything it takes to welcome wine lovers. The Beachhouse, on the banks of the lake, is a very cool place to enjoy a beer or an aperitif in a relaxed atmosphere. To do yoga, rent a SUP or go surfing, you are also in good hands with us. In addition, our house is a popular venue for marriages, seminars or any other event. And of course, in the future, the hotel will be the ideal departure and arrival point for Attila Boutique Boatel passengers.
