I am very impatient, there are still two months to go before we leave the Sugiez office for the first time with our own means to sail on the Trois-Lacs. And I am even more delighted to personally welcome the first guests on the Attila Boutique Boatel ! We do our utmost to ensure that the voyages on l'Attila are a unique experience for each passenger.

Les préparatifs se déroulent-ils comme prévu ? Can you explain briefly what is happening now?

We are on the right track, but there is certainly still a lot of preparatory work to be done at all levels. What also motivates us at Reederei Vully AG is the palpable enthusiasm of all the people and companies involved in the project: l'Attila evokes emotions! The interior design work is currently in full swing, and the Atelier oï of La Neuveville has created a superb design. In addition, we have started the sale; we are in training to prepare all the processes involved in the operation of the hotel; we are training the navigation staff; and finally, we are gaining new partners every day who support our project with the same enthusiasm as we do. Without them, it would not be possible to realize such a project in this way.

As a PDG, you have to manage and juggle different domains at the same time. Plutôt épuisant ou simplement excitant ?

Of course, it's extremely passionate and stimulating, but the contacts with potential guests are particularly gratifying at the moment. They are keen to test a new offer in Switzerland, especially in the current pandemic situation. At the end of the day, no two days are the same; after all, we are imagining a new business. Many solutions will have to be developed quickly. Fortunately, for this too, I can count on a large number of specialists to address the issues touching on very diverse topics. In addition, I am in training to become a matelot. It is important for me to directly experience all aspects of future activities.

What can cruisers expect on the Attila? Can you tell us about a typical day on the boat?

When the boats open in the morning, they help you to enjoy a fantastic sunset. After a petit-déjeuner at the Captain's Lounge, they plan their day: navigate on the lake in complete relaxation or go on passionate excursions in the region. I think that's great! L'Attila is not a typical cruiser, but rather a jewel of refinement that allows you to sail in the respect of nature. Can you tell us a little more about the propulsion system, etc.?

We navigate with a hybrid propulsion system, i.e. we use electric motors powered by solar or green electricity (depending on availability) or, if necessary, latest-generation diesel generators. We apply ecological principles in all areas by offering, as far as possible, products from the region on board.
